Flavia starts her medical doctoral thesis in our group. She will investigate the «Neuronal Stress-Response in Female and Male Patients with Heart Failure».
We are delighted that Vera, a world-renowned pioneer of gender medicine in Germany is the Anna-Fischer-Dückelmann Visiting-Professor at University of Zurich (CH). A true inspiration for everyone working in the field of the gender medicine and young researchers.
Nik will start his bachelor thesis entitled «Does Quantification of Fat Attenuation Index add Prognostic Value as an Adjunct to State of the Art Cardiovascular Imaging? A gender specific exploration of fat attenuation as a marker of perivascular inflammation» in our group!
With the extra support, we will be able to develop our gender medicine efforts in Zurich.
She has contributed to five publications as co-author. Well done!
