Adriana joined our team in 2021 to conduct her master’s thesis on the impact of perivalvular inflammation after Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation on long-term outcomes, work that earned her the Semester Award from the University of Zurich in 2023. She continued her research with our group before graduating from medical school at the University of Zurich in 2024. She is currently pursuing her doctoral thesis in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University Hospital Zurich and, since April 2025, has been working as a resident in internal medicine at Kantonsspital Baden. Outside of medicine, Adriana enjoys singing and indoor bouldering.
