Cathérine Gebhard and her team have published an editorial about «Imaging Inflammation in Atherosclerosis: Exploring all Avenues» by illustrating the needs of novel molecular imaging modalities to flag the ‘vulnerable’ patient using non-invasive imaging tools.

Nik successfully defended his bachelor’s thesis titled «Does Quantification of Fat Attenuation Index add Prognostic Value as an Adjunct to State of the Art Cardiovascular Imaging? A Gender-Specific Exploration of Fat Attenuation as a Marker of Perivascular Inflammation».
We are excited to be starting our first runs on the SNSF R'EQUIP funded pre-clinical magnetic resonance (MR) scanner. Many thanks to Dr. Petra Seebeck of the Integrative Rodent Physiology (ZIRP), University of Zurich for organizing a «Train the Trainer» meeting together with MR Solutions.
